He is a Strawberry Blond boy who should not weigh anymore than 27lbs, he is a "TRUE" mini with red heritage. Fiddler is one of the sweetest puppies on our farm, he is always wanting to cuddle under your legs and yet always up to play when you "invite" him to.

Eyes!

Man, Call me a sucker but it really just amazes me that after all these years of breeding our gals I STILL get excited when the puppies turn 2weeks old and start opening their eyes. I hinted on our Facebook page yesterday that I saw a opening in the puppies their sealed eyelids but when I went in to see the pups today, I was surprised that a few of the puppies eyes were fully open!

Be still my fluttering heart! Aren't they just adorable? I mean isn't this what we have been waiting for? Now we will start seeing their real personalities coming through. Which puppy is the most adventurous, which puppy desires to be closest to you, and which puppy prefers to stay next to the feeding bowl. Oh, and you can really start to see the differences in the coat types right now too! A few of them are MUCH wavy-er than others while some should will have more of a Nordic coat.

Penny waiting for Lindy to Finnish her job.

Proud mama!

7 down... ? To go..

Here are a few shots of our F1b mini Doodles..

Let's try something new.

I'm trying to see if this new app will let me post real time photos, here we go!

Please pass the Ice Cream!

Yes, that is what I said.... Ice cream !!! Why might you ask? According to one of our favorite whelping books there are three thing to remember when you female is in labor -they are called the Three Musketeers - Glucose, Calcium and Oxytocin.  The Glucose give energy, Calcium releases calcium from the cells and helps with whelping and oxytocin helps with contractions.

The reason that I mention this is because its 10am here in Nashville and Lindy has officially had 2bowls of, you guessed it, Ice Cream. Then you ask what does that mean?? We are watching her pace, pant, stand up and try and get comfortable, just to decide that that isn't the place that she wants to have her little ones!

We will let you all know when we have puppies born, and depending on how hectic it all is, we may even post a whelping video!

They are HERE!!!

I know a lot of my friends post on their blogs THERE birth story and even though I DO have a child I am more excited about sharing with everyone Penny having her first litter rather than explaining all of the in's and outs of my labor and delivery. There, is nothing wrong with that Right??
Welp(yes, that is a pun) after 16hrs of stage1 labor, 2hrs easy of active labor(stage2), our Penny girl had 6 beautiful healthy puppies, 2girls and 4boys! They rage from a Strawberry Blond color all the way to the darker boys that are more of an Irish Setter red! There weights were between 7.5oz to 10oz which for Miniature F1Bs Goldendoodles couldn't be better

We plan on starting them with our Puppy preschool tomorrow and Yes, I promise... I will be posting new photos of our Litter..

It is official! We are expecting (I think :)

It's True, It's true!! Well at least we think so anyway!?!?! Over the years, we here at Music City Goldendoodles look forward to Spring because of the promise of new day! The daffodils blooming, Trees budding, Grass growing and its time for our once a year breeding! Every breeding is special to us because we love to mold our puppies into fantastic dogs that eventually fit into the perfect family screened by us. BUT this year we are even more excited than usual as we proudly announce that we have introduced Penny and Cassidy into our breeding program.
We bred Penny and Lindy to Cassidy last week and it couldn't have gone any better! With all of the changes in personality we think we will be expecting puppies the last week in June - first week in July.

Lindy's puppies will be a Medium Sized Mini F1B that will be no smaller than 17inches and no larger than 22inches.

Penny's pups will be true F1B Mini Goldendoodles and should be somewhere around 15-17inches.

Hopefully there will be a few Chocolates Browns, Dark Red or even Phantoms puppies in the bunch :)

All puppies will be enrolled in our Puppy Preschool which includes Daily Early Neurological Stimulation early in life for a more rounded, better behaved, more intelligent puppy.

If you are interested and would like to be put on our waiting list feel free and Email me for more info..
